Ms. McGee is an RDLN graduation, whose field project was to train community people in the redistricting process, under the umbrella of Southern Echo. She previously worked with the Mississippi Association of Cooperatives.
She has written a biography of her uncle James Meredith, who integrated the University of Mississippi. Her book is called James Meredith: Warrior and the America that Created Him (Praeger). She has started her own publishing company, Meredith&Etc.
