Donor Leticia Carreon has worked for a Bernalillo County, New Mexico, finance office for thirteen years. She is an RDLN graduate who was sponsored in the program by the Housing Assistance Council. She has volunteered for many organizations, including Ganados del Valle, and has provided translating and paralegal services for many in the immigrant community.
She is shown in photo below with Joe O'Neil at the International Civil Rights Center & Museum in Greensboro, North Carolina during an RDLN Assembly. He is one of the Freedom Four who sat in at the Woolworth lunch counter that is now part of the Museum. RDLN held an event there featuring RDLN graduate/authors Shirley Sherrod and Meredith McGee, who spoke on their books related to the Civil Rights movement (The Courage to Hope, Sherrod and James Meredith: Warrior and the American that Created Him by McGee, about her uncle).
