Item Description
The original 1943 Oklahoma! Broadway poster is available to you in mint condition with protected plastic covering. Straight from the Playhouse vault this legendary musical was based on Lynn Riggs' play, Green Grow the Lilacs, which opened in 1931 at the Westport Country Playhouse.
Richard Rodgers' and Oscar Hammerstein's Oklahoma! began its record-breaking run on Broadway in March 1943, when America was at war on two fronts. Songs such as "Oh What a Beautiful Morning" captured American audiences with their optimism and high spirits during a challenging time. The Oklahoma! 1943 original poster was printed on premium heavy stock paper which captures all of the vivid colors and details of the original. The overall paper size is 11.00 x 17.00 inches and the image size is 11.00 x 17.00 inches.
Bring some history into your home with this original gem!
