2007 Lieb Family Cellars Cabernet Franc Reserve
With violets, raspberry, sweet tobacco and black pepper on the nose, this Cabernet Franc displays juicy blackberry and currant nuances, which carry the wine into its dry, peppery finish.
2010 Keuka Lake Vineyards Cabernet Franc
On the nose, biscuit-crumb notes add a touch of sweetness to the crisp black-cherry and cassis scents. On the palate, darker tones of dried herb and briar patch contrast the lush black-fruit and violet flavors that linger luxuriously on the finish.
IBY Horitschon Blaufränkisch Classic
Dark ruby garnet with a violet rim, mostly young, the streaks that form on the glass show clearly the high extract content from ripe grapes. Clear, pronounced cherry and blackberry fruit.
2011 Cigar Zin Old Vine Zinfandel
Notes of deep black fruit, a punch of spice and crushed black pepper on the nose. The rich, lush and well-structured wine is hearty with exotic fruit characteristics.
