Winning bidder will receive a two-week session of camp from Charles River School Creative Starts program, for kids ages 6 to 8, located in Dover, MA.

About Charles River Creative Arts Summer Programs:

Located in Dover, MA, CRCAP has been a pioneer in multi-arts education since 1970.  Here, young people take risks and learn new skills in an exciting, nurturing, and diverse community of experienced artists and educators.

Creative Starts lets children ages 6-8 explore the arts in a stimulating and age-appropriate environment. Each two-week session features a unique theme. Campers choose activities daily from a wide variety of visual and performing arts.

Noontime Shows are a daily celebration of the talents and creativity of the entire community. Campers perform for an engaged and supportive audience.

Guest artists like James Taylor, Yo-Yo Ma, Tracy Chapman, Matt & Kim, and William Hurt bring their insight and talent, collaborating and performing with campers and sharing their unique experience.

Session A: Power Up!

Discover your inner super power! Do you have a secret identity? Build your superheroes from the ground up. Create a concept sketch. Make a movie. Design a costume. Draw a comic strip.  Write a superhero play and perform it. With Creative Starts Superheroes, the possibilities are endless!

Session B: Mad Scientists of Dover

Wafts of smoke rising from bottles, columns of bubbling blue foam, mysteriously moving mice – there’s no telling what strange and fantastic inventions will appear when the Mad Scientists of Dover are at work! Put on your goggles, and use creative materials to design, brew, and invent objects and concoctions that are simply out of this world!

Session C: Crazy Garden Critters

Join us in the Creative Starts garden – but watch out for the giant potato bug! And does that Luna moth really glow? When our Creative Starts Gardeners get to work on designing crazy garden critters, planting magic beans, fashioning fairy gardens and gathering amazing morsels from nature for artistic inspiration, even the hornworms stand up and pay attention!

Session D: Building Big

It is high time for our youngest campers to design and build their own giant structure for all to see. What shall it look like? What materials will we use? How will we make it? Join us as we create an installation of epic proportions on the Charles River campus. Wield a hammer, paint a mural, wire some outdoor lighting and watch those Creative Starts Builders raise that roof!

All winning bidders will be charged a transaction fee of 5%, not to exceed $20 per item, to cover a portion of the auction transaction fees. We thank you for bidding and supporting the school.
