Item Description

Winning bidder will receive a gift certificate valued at $250 toward a Brookline Recreation Summer Day Camp. Brookline Recreation offers Summer Camps for children ages 4 years - 15 years.  Please visit the website for information on dates.

SUMMER DAY CAMPS

Three summer day camps are offered to children ages 5-6, 7-9 and 10-13. Each camp provides various activities and pre-established schedules where children can build confidence, develop skills, make new friends, and have fun! Our camp gives children an experience that lasts a lifetime by providing challenging activities under the guidance of caring, well-trained staff members. Children take part in arts and crafts, non-competitive sports and games, swimming three to four times a week, recreational play, and themed activities. Each camp will feature entertainment activities and field trips.

OTHER CAMP OPTIONS include SOULE CAMPS (Ceramics, Painting, Batik, and/or Sculpture), NATURE CAMPS (Little Acorns, Sprouts, Junior Rangers, Adventurers), and Junior Golf Players Camps.

Extended Day
Need extra care for your camper? Brookline Recreation Summer Day Camps offer extended day services from 4:00PM to 6:00PM Monday through Friday. The cost is $10 per day and you may sign up for one day a session or all five. Please note that Extended day slots are limited to each camp. Bus transportation is not offered for extended day campers.

Bus Transportation
Bus transportation is available for all Brookline Recreation campers for an additional cost. You must be registered for camp to be eligible for bus transportation to and from camp. Bus routes are preset and you must select your stop from the choices provided. 

Lunch Services
Daily lunch in available at Day Camps for an additional cost. Through a partnership with the Public School's Food Services, healthy options include cold sandwiches, salads, and bagels. Families who receive free and reduced lunch services during the school year may extend this through the summer. Download Lunch Menu

Camper to Counselor Ratio
Brookline Recreation Summer Day Camps provide supervision in ratios to allow our counselors the opportunity to build relationships and provide each child with the attention he or she deserves. Our ratios are as follows: Camp Kangaroo 1:5, Camp Gator 1:10, Camp Express 1:10

Staff

Our staff is made up of college and high school aged individuals who are studying or have an interest in the field of education or childcare. Each year we receive 100+ applicants and every counselor is screen and interviewed by our full time Camp program director. Our staff is held to the highest standards to ensure that our campers are safe and their summers are the most successful possible.

CHECKS TO BE MADE OUT TO DEVOTION SCHOOL AND MAILED TO CINDY TUNGATE, DEVOTION SCHOOL SPRING CARNIVALE, 345 HARVARD STREET, BROOKLINE, MA 02446 (OR DROPPED IN HER MAILBOX AT SCHOOL).

All winning bidders will be charged a transaction fee of 5%, not to exceed $20 per item, to cover a portion of the auction transaction fees. We thank you for helping with this and supporting the school.
