Item Description

High Ground Organics is a family farm located in Watsonville, CA, dedicated to environmental stewardship and producing high quality, fresh, nutritious vegetables for our community. They sell certified organic produce through a CSA program, at their Watsonville farmstand, at the Mountain View Farmers’ Market, and to a few select produce stores and restaurants in the area.

With three farm sites, Farmer Stephen Pedersen is able to grow a wide variety of crops. He grows high quality lettuces, greens, cauliflower, beans, turnips, radishes, beets, tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, broccoli, carrots, kale, chard, mei quin choi, herbs, radishes, winter and summer squash, onions, potatoes, spinach, celery, fennel, and pumpkins. With coastal grown blueberries, strawberries, heirloom apples, and pears, Stephen can round out his vegetable offerings with fruit throughout the main growing season.

This item is a 4-week trial of the CSA -- have fresh, seasonal, local organic produce delivered to a pick-up site near you once a week for four weeks.  Pick-up sites located in Santa Cruz, Aptos, Watsonville, Scotts Valley, San Jose, Santa Clara, Saratoga, Cupertino, Portola Valley, Los Gatos, Los Altos, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Redwood City, Monterey, Pacific Grove, Carmel, Seaside, and Salinas.
