Item Description

Winning bidder will receive one week of camp (valued at $475) from your choice of Summer Sports Camps At Babson College, including  Tennis, Baseball, Basketball, Field Hockey, Volleyball, Lacrosse and Soccer.  This certificate EXCLUDES ice hockey camp. Camps include both boys and girls sessions and dates are shown below.

2016 Camps Available/Recommended Ages:

Baseball: Ages 6-12 (June 27-July 1)

Boys & Girls Tennis: Ages 8-15, multiple sessions

Boys Basketball: Ages 6-14, multiple sessions

Boys Soccer: Ages 7-17, multiple sessions

Girls Soccer: Ages 7-13 (July 18-22)

Boys Lacrosse: Ages 8-14 (July 18-22)

Girls Lacrosse: Ages 8-17 (July 25-29)

Field Hockey: Ages 10-17 (July 11-15)

Volleyball: Ages 7-17 (August 8-12)

About Babson College Sports Camps:

At Babson, we understand that athletics are an integral part of a child¿s development. The goal of our summer camps program is to help your child learn new skills in a specific sport, meet new friends, and have fun.

The Camps at Babson College cater to the ability levels of boys and girls, ages 6-17. We offer well-designed programs and activities, a dedicated, experienced staff, and state-of-the-art facilities.

We teach the fundamentals of good sportsmanship as well as help to improve individual skills. Our low camper-to-counselor ratio ensures that participants have the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

We understand that taking part in a sport helps kids build self-esteem, teaches them how to work together, and helps develop friendships that will last a lifetime.

Typical Daily Schedule

8:30-9 a.m. Arrival

• Warm-up, stretching, attendance, orientation
• Instructional Sessions: Tactics of the game, positional play, fundamental drills
• Team drills
• All-you-can-eat lunch
• Optional free swim (excluding Ice Hockey and Baseball)
• Controlled scrimmages, games, and skill contests
• Clear fields, attendance, daily wrap-up

3:45 p.m. Pickup

Facilities

The Camps at Babson College are held on Babson's beautiful 370-acre campus in Wellesley, Massachusetts. The summer camps and clinics use numerous indoor and outdoor facilities, including four full-sized playing fields and several mini-fields, multiple indoor and outdoor basketball courts, a multicourt outdoor tennis complex, and an indoor swimming pool. Sodexo Food Services prepares a wide variety of meals each day. An all-you-can-eat lunch is included in the tuition for all day camps. Our two dining facilities are peanut-free.

All winning bidders will be charged a transaction fee of 5%, not to exceed $20 per item, to cover a portion of the auction transaction fees. We thank you for bidding and supporting the school!
