- Chappellet Signature Cabernet Sauvigon (2011): This is an amazingly rich, complex and satisfying wine filled with plush, ripe fruit and abundant spice. On the nose, enticing layers of dark cherry and blackberry combine with rich Bordeaux aromatics of sweet tobacco and cedar. Elements of chocolate and roasted coffee add a hedonistic dimension, with underlying new oak providing sweetness and elegant spice. The palate is broad and mouth-filling, with flavors of juicy, dark fruit, black currant, espresso and bittersweet chocolate. Supple, layered tannins accentuate this wine's velvety richness and weight, while carrying it through to a long, seamless finish.
- Vincent Arroyo Cabernet Sauvignon (2010): Vincent Arroyo Winery produces over 8,000 cases from estate vineyards. Every year it makes Chardonnay, Cabernet, Petite Sirah, Merlot, Sangiovese and a couple of red blends. Some have described this particular cabernet sauvignon as… “Nose of red berries & earth. Notes of red cherry, red berries, some barnyard & leather. Drinking well now, but should do even better with 2-3 more years on it.” (2015) and “Good fruit and tannins. Overall an earthy and balanced cab.” (2013).
- William Hill Cabernet Sauvignon (2010): Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon displays aromas and flavors of bright red fruit with hints of blueberry and dark cherry. Traces of brown spice and sweet vanilla enhance the palate, creating a plush mouthfeel that evolves into an extraordinary finish. Gold Medal Winner: 2014 Los Angeles International Wine Competition. Blend: 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot, 2% Petite Sirah, 1% Merlot.
