Item Description

Winning bidder will receive one session at Membership Beach in Hale Reservation.  The donation can also be used toward a full summer membership with the winner paying the difference.  A session is valued at $505 and the full summer is valued at $990.  Session dates include the following:

• Session 1: June 26-July 9
• Session 2: July 10-July 23
• Session 3: July 24-August 6
• Session 4: August 7-August 20

About Membership Beach:

It has been proven, scientifically and through years of anecdotal experience, that getting outdoors and being active is healthy for our hearts, muscles and minds.  More and more evidence points to improved brain functioning when exposed to outdoor recreation.  The air, the sounds, the colors, and the textures.  The ponds, the streams, the trees and the fields.  These are the “walls” of our classroom we use for all our programs.  We create curriculum that integrates outdoor activities with concrete learning – and we make it FUN!

While the camp programs offered at Hale are frequently what we are best known for, the programs go much, much deeper.  Hale Day Camp and Membership Beach take traditional summer camp and family camp to a completely new place.  Integrating creative recreation with the outdoor environment and sprinkling in educational opportunities, both programs foster a greater sense of self and the value of community.  The Hale Outdoor Learning Adventures program brings Boston public school students from the city to an intense summer learning environment.  The School, College and Corporate Programs bring groups from public and private schools, colleges, universities and corporations to Hale for one day or multiple days to take advantage of our extensive outdoor classroom, teambuilding, and challenge course programs. Through partnerships with community based organizations we conduct an Agency Camp Program that brings children from all over Greater Boston to Hale.  Hale is also host to a series of ongoing programs open to the public and a variety of private events such as weddings, holiday parties and family gatherings.
