Winner will receive an 8 week Junior Soccer Academy session with the Chicago City Soccer Club.
JUNIOR SOCCER ACADEMY (Powered by Nike Soccer)
The Juniors Program is the existing Junior Soccer Academy which has been a great success as a beginner introduction to soccer. This program is set up to teach players the basic fundamental of soccer whilst having maximum fun and creating a love for the sport. We encourage our players to be creative and express themselves freely. This is produced through a combination of fun games with an emphasis on player development through higher level exercises. Your son/daughter will be challenged as he coaches will prepare our players for the Pre Academy trying new skills & techniques long with key coaching points in 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 scrimmages.
All sessions will be held at Windy City Fieldhouse located next to Target at 2367 W. Logan Blvd.
Select (Beginner Soccer)
Select classes introduce athletes to the fun and excitement of soccer. This class uses age appropriate games and drills to promote motor skills and familiarity with a soccer ball. Through fun games and adventure themed activities, players develop skills such as balance, shooting, close ball control, and trapping. This experience will instill a love for the game of soccer at an early age. Boys and Girls (Ages 3-4).
Premier (Advanced Soccer)
In this class, players develop a close familiarity with the ball and learn the importance of always having it under control. The Premier level tests young players in a more challenging environment, working on team exercises and one-on-one drills. Young athletes will learn landing on their shooting foot, precision shots vs. power shots, trapping the ball in the air, and field awareness. Players will be given tasks to do at home to help further their development. Boys and Girls (Ages 5-6).
