Winning Bidder will receive a two hour basketball clinic from Boston University Coaches Joe Jones and Curtis Wilson. The clinic will be held at the Edward Devotion School on Friday, April 29, from 2-4 pm. Up to 45 kids can attend so up to 45 people can bid and win.
About Joe Jones Summer Basketball Clinic:
The Joe Jones Summer Basketball Clinic is a four day experience that focuses on the fundamentals of basketball through station work and competition, with strong emphasis on shooting, ball handling and individual offensive and defensive skills. The camp stresses the importance of fundamentals, smart decision-making and hard work while having fun along the way. Campers are divided by age and skill level to ensure that each camper has a meaningful experience. All campers receive one-on-one coaching.
About Joe Jones:
With 21 years of coaching experience, Joe Jones is in his fifth year at the helm of Boston University's Men's Basketball Team. In his second season, the Terriers recorded a 11-5 (.688) record in America East action, and that was good enough for a second place conference finish. They finished with an overall record of 17-13 after facing a challenging non-conference schedule.
Highlights included the Terriers being selected for the CIT postseason tournament. The team also defeated Vermont University twice, which marked the final time the two universities will meet in conference play as the Terriers transitioned into the Patriot League for this season.
