Item Description
Two bottles:
1.A hint of lavender tint on a vintage jar with vintage bear claw shell with lavender marking. Pewter decorative solder, moss filled jar.
2. Tiny vintage apothecary sample bottle aged to a light frost. A young fighting conch shell with sweet flower-like barnacles surrounded by decorative solder.
Bottleart by Sandra King are crafted from vintage, collected and found bottles, candlesticksand other unique findings, adorning them with a variety of crystals, glass, gems, silver, pewter, copper and seashells. All shells and sea life come from reputable sources, never poached. Vintage bottles vary in age, condition and color. They are excavated, recycled and transformed into elegant and beautiful art pieces. A sign of their past life is often evident, particularly the ones dating back to the 1800's. The worn, weathered look can show stunning patinas and luminous colors, especially when reflected by the light. You might even find a chip or two. These imperfections contribute to their own unique look. Bottles are for decorative purposes only, and all toppers are soldered in place and not removable.
