Item Description

Two-night stay for two at the five-star d’Angleterre Hotel in Copenhagen

Enjoy a two-night stay for two in a superior double room in the fantastic classically styled five-star D’Angleterre Hotel in Copenhagen. For more than 250 years, the D’Angleterre has been located on Kongens Nytorv in the heart of Copenhagen. The hotel has been the site for legendary political, royal and national events throughout Denmark’s history.

The d’Angleterre is the result of a love affair between two young people. In the middle of the 1700s Jean Marchal, a servant in the royal court, and Maria Coppy, daughter to the royal chef, fell in love. Maria was known for her cooking talent and Jean knew everything about serving the privileged. Together Mr. & Mrs. Marchal established a restaurant on Kongens Nytorv in 1755. This is where the d’Angleterre fairytale begins.

After an extensive renovation, the d’Angleterre reopened in 2013 as a revitalized grand palace balancing legacy and style with intuitive and tailored services that complement the desires of today’s refined travelers. Inspired by its tradition, and with a light and elegant look, the d’Angleterre is now one of the world’s finest luxury hotels. The spacious and elegant rooms and suites are individually decorated to create the most comfortable environment. Just outside the front door you will find some of Copenhagen’s major attractions, and everything else is within walking distance.
