Item Description
An Evening Uniquely Greek
--private dinner featuring Greek music, dinner and wine
--20 guests, buy a spot, $250 per person
Close your eyes, and inhale deeply.
It’s a fragrant, early May evening in a charming Greek village.
You and a select few are entering the inviting garden of a lovely private home. The air is sweet with the warm smells of rustic Greek food being prepared in an open kitchen, as you sample from an inviting array of authentically Greek appetizers spread on a long table. You are offered a glass of exceptional Greek wine.
Soon, you are carried away by the vibrant, stirring Greek music being played and sung by two musicians, virtuosi on the bulgari and the lyra, traditional Greek instruments dating back to antiquity. The concert ends, but the music continues as you indulge in an exquisite multi-course dinner of classic Greek dishes, from avgolemeno soup, keftedes, and roasted meats, to baklava and ouzo.
Now open your eyes. This unique Greek experience need not remain a dream. Simply substitute St. Helena for the charming Greek village, and come May 7, 2016, this event will become a once-in-a-lifetime reality for 20 lucky individuals.
Petros Anagnostakis and Anastasios "Tassos" Stavrakakis are the talented Greek musicians who will perform the private and intimate concert for you.
The dynamic Chef Georgia Kosturos of Georgia’s Table will be preparing the meal. Her experience and skill redefine traditional Greek dishes and elevate them above and beyond any versions you have ever tasted.
Here is your opportunity to take a small Greek vacation without leaving the valley.
So, grab your friends and purchase one or several of the twenty spots to transport you to a night in Greek paradise – an evening which will be relaxed, delicious and uniquely entertaining.
