Artist Bio:
Born in Brooklyn, NY; now a resident of New Jersey, Helene graduated from Parsons School of Design. She says "As a painter, I am self-taught. As the years have gone by, my style evolves and now the only time I use a brush is to sign a painting and to varnish it. I use my fingers to work the paint and create the paintings. Most of the paintings are 8 x 10, a size that lends itself to my technique." Her works have been exhibited at the Noyes Museum of Art (NJ) and various galleries both in New Jersey and New York.
