One week of summer camp at McLaren Park during the 2016 season. Hours are 9-4:30pm. Open to students entering 1st - 5th grades in the fall of 2016.

Tree Frog Treks will spending one week exploring San Franciscos other big green space, McLaren Park! Campers will trek through the soaring eucalyptus forests, discover insects and waterfowl at the pond, perform science experiments, meet animals, and so much more!

Thank you so much for voting us the Best Camp for Kids in San Francisco in the San Francisco Bay Guardian for two years running! We're excited to be back for another great summer outdoors exploring nature, performing hands-on science experiments and meeting awesome animals!

Campers at Tree Frog Treks Summer Camp get out and get dirty every day! Each camper builds a special connection to nature with the help of his or her expert naturalists as they discover the world through science. Rain or shine they trek through San Francisco, seeking out the natural spaces and the living things who call the Bay Area home.

During each camp session, campers will meet live animals, perform fun experiments and build leadership and critical thinking skills through adventuring in nature with peers and instructors. Come meet Blondie the Burmese Python, Ivan the African Spur Thigh Tortoise, Squiggles the Asian Water Dragon, and Stickum the Whites Tree Frog - to name some of our nearly 100 Animal Ambassadors! We play games and tell stories to bring many unseen aspects of our urban habitat to life for our campers.
