The Power and Elegance of the Oak Knoll District
The brilliant 2002 Trefethen Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is composed of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot and the balance Malbec and Petit Verdot. Its dense ruby/purple color is accompanied by notions of blueberries, creme de cassis, toasty oak and charcoal/barbecue smoke. The wine displays impressive fruit along with a full-bodied mouthfeel and sweet, velvety tannins.
As one would expect coming from the Oak Knoll area, it does a superb job of combining power and elegance. Enjoy this youthful Cabernet over the next 10-15+ years.

Non-Napa County winners of auction lots containing wines will have their wines shipped from the Napa Valley Wine Warehouse storage facility in St. Helena, beginning Tuesday, March 1, 2016. If you're the lucky winner, we'll call you to get your credit card info and share more details.
Napa County winners of auction lots containing wine may pick up their wines at the St. Helena office of the UpValley Family Centers at 1440 Spring Street beginning Monday, February 29, 2016. If you are the lucky winner, we'll call you with details.
