Ronin Buddhism - by Darren Lamb, signed by the author.

Traditional Buddhism teaches us to take refuge in three things...the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha (those people we practice with). While the Buddha and the Dharma can be found almost anywhere, often times there might not be a Sangha to be a member of. What if there is not one present in your state, or what if it is illegal or dangerous to practice in your area? You may have to practice alone.

In the days of the Samurai, there were people called Ronin. A Ronin was a Samurai without a master to serve. Those who practice Buddhism unconventionally might feel a bit like the Ronin, since they don't have a formal teacher and will often times feel alone. Ronin Buddhism is about believing in ourselves to the point where we dare to walk a spiritual path alone. Siddhartha didn't have a Sangha. He ultimately ditched others and went it alone. After all, you're the one who has to sit on the cushion. No one else can reach enlightenment for you. Whether you are a beginner or a reincarnated Lama, this book has something for you. Taking a nontraditional and often silly approach to the practice, Ronin Buddhism will make you think about the practice in new and entertaining ways.

Red Rain: A Sea of Sin Novel (Volume 2) – by Darren Lamb, signed by the author

When Mark and his family are brutally assaulted in a fraternity prank gone wrong, Mark is the sole survivor having lost his voice, his wife and his daughter. What happens when the justice system fails and Mark, a former Marine sniper, finds the dark side of enlightenment? Mark’s friends – Mike, his spotter and buddy from the Marine Corps, Hattie, the Life-Flight nurse who saved Mark’s life, and Larry and David, two members of the God Squad with surprising skills and interests – race to stop Mark in this exploration of one man’s attempt to take back his power through the only means he understands. The second novel in the Sea of Sin series, Red Rain will pour over you like a twisted fairy tale, but who will live and who will die happily ever after?

The Little Book of Loving Kindness – by Darren Lamb, signed by the author.

Why is it when tragedy strikes, we hear so many people sending their thoughts and prayers to those effected? There's something instinctive in our nature that wants to ease the suffering of those around us. Can simply wishing someone well have any type of effect upon them? Are our prayers ever answered?

In Tibetan Buddhism there is a meditation called Tonglen, which teaches us how to harness the power of our compassion, and develop our awareness of the interconnectedness we all share. This tiny book will teach you how to do basic Tonglen meditation, and contains over 100 prayers, some traditional, some comical, but all can help you generate positive karma and give loving kindness to all. Om Mani Padme Hum. May all beings be free from suffering.

The Book of Benjamin – by Darren Lamb, signed by the author.

No good deed goes unpunished. When Benjamin finds out he is a bone marrow match for a young boy in desperate need, he gladly volunteers to be a donor. But then a routine MRI shows something lining the bones of Benjamin’s pelvis and this discovery changes the world. There are words and symbols covering the inner linings of Benjamin’s entire body. Even more surprising is that the words seem to have a message and an agenda. Scientific breakthroughs are soon being made using formulas found inside Ben’s body, but the strangest thing of all is that the words seem to have the power to heal others.

Soon Benjamin is performing miracles, and drastically changing people’s lives for the better. He openly claims that he has no powers, and is only doing what the words tell him to do, but others aren’t so quick to believe this. Soon people begin to think Benjamin might be something more. Could he be some new type of spiritual leader or the second coming of a past one? Can Benjamin convince the world that we all have the power to change each-other’s lives, or will he meet the same end as every other religious icon, or is possible that all this just happening inside Ben’s mind?

The Book of Benjamin will ask you to question your own potential and ability to help others. What if you have more power inside you that you ever imagined

Transubstantiation: A Sea of Sin Novel (Volume 1) - by Darren Lamb, signed by the author.

If the choices that we make define how our lives are going to be, then how do we know how to make the right decisions?

All the major decisions in our lives basically boil down to the question of if we are going to open ourselves up and take a chance or shut down and reject what’s being offered to us. Unfortunately the emotional scar tissue we all have protecting our old wounds make it harder and harder to be open and vulnerable. When people hurt us we want to give up our hearts less and less. How well do you know those people around you? What if the person who pours your coffee has a lot of the answers to the questions you’re looking for? What if the person who bags your groceries is connected to you in ways you will never know? What if you could give up your minds interpretation of what a spiritual leader should look like? If you’ve ever claimed that you’re spiritual but not religious, this book is for you. If you’ve ever felt like having a spiritual path is irrelevant, this book is for you. If you’ve ever felt that science and God have nothing to do with each other, this book is for you
