Item Description
The saying goes: “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for life.” Not only will we feed you, but we’ll teach you how to make these (future) award-winning dishes well. After countless years of tweaking our creations to perfection and learning how to cook from the heart and not a book, we offer you this once in a lifetime culinary adventure to experience portions of our menu for our future food truck/restaurant, which will be called “Cooper’s” (yelp us in 10 years!).
This is a Saturday-only package. Come over in the early afternoon for mimosas and shrimp & grits (with bacon and mushrooms), followed by spontaneous, fun activities to reignite your appetite! For dinner, you have your choice of either ribs (slow cooked with a secret dry rub and homemade bbq sauce) or Cubanos (as made famous by the movie Chef) and a surprise homemade dessert. Feel free to join us by the backyard fire-put after dinner to learn more about our inspirations and aspirations!
How involved you want to be in the prep/cook process is up to you! Printed recipes with step-by-step instructions will be provided.
*Faculty members are welcome to bid.
**BYOB for dinner.
*** April is preferred, but not required.
**** We reserve the right to refuse service if Cooper doesn’t like you (sorry, but he takes precedent).
