Item Description

Trio of Full-Bodied California Chardonnay
Wonderful examples of California Chardonnay from Sonoma, St. Helena, and Woodbridge

2012 Landmark Vineyards Damaris Reserve Chardonnay

The 2012 Damaris Reserve comes from two vineyards: Sangiacomo and Flocchini, both with cool climates allowing for a long growing season, allowing for fully ripe fruit with balance and acidity.

The Wine Advocate (94) - As in the past, the finest grapes are used in the top cuvée, the 2012 Chardonnay Damaris Reserve. This rich, honeyed, full-bodied Chardonnay is filled with pineapple, white peach, poached pear and honeysuckle characteristics. It can be enjoyed now or over the next 1-2 years

2010 32 Winds Chardonnay "Spinnaker"

The fruit for the 2010 "Spinnaker" Chardonnay is the Floodgate Vineyard in Sonoma Coast appellation. It is an organically dry-farmed vineyard with 8 to 10 year old vines. The fruit was hand-harvested, de-stemmed, crushed and transferred to French oak barrels of which aproximately 30% were new. It was aged on the lees for 11 months with occasional battonage. This Chardonnay displays flavors and aromas of Granny Smith apples, pears, quince, lemon curd and vanilla. It also possesses our trademark vibrant acidity and lovely textural mouthfeel.

2009 Toasted Head Chardonnay

The nose offers ripe pineapple and peach aromas with toasted graham cracker. The bright straw color prepares the palate for the rich tropical fruit and luscious stone fruit with a viscous mouth feel accented by toasted coconut, vanilla and butterscotch. The creamy finish lingers with hints of buttered toast and lemon zest. This wine will pair well with creamy Italian pasta dishes, roasted chicken or fish, and fresh summer corn.
