Item Description
Safe and gentle horses and ponies. Fun-filled days with good friends, new and old. Riding lessons. Games on horseback. Arts and crafts. This is just a sampling of the events that occur at Enterprise Farms’ riding camps!
This week-long summer camp features safety oriented instruction on how to work around horses, basic horsemanship skills, grooming, bathing, tacking and exercising. Special guests -- including veterinarians, professional trainers, and farriers (horse shoers) -- demonstrate their expertise, invite hands-on participation and answer questions from students.
The week wraps up with a horse show and awards ceremony where your camper will demonstrate newly developed skills for family and friends!
Dates: Camp begins June 13 and run weekly through August 29. Click here for the full schedule.
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Camps are for children ages 6 and older.
No riding experience necessary.
Boots and safety approved helmets are provided.
Located within a private riding club on the edge of Griffith Park in Atwater Village.
The camps fill up fast so it's very important that the winning bidder reserves their desired week ASAP. Please keep a second choice in mind (You'll be placed on the waiting list for your first choice if it's full.)
