RE archivist Gloria Pierce is also a well-known South Florida artist. She earned a BFA in painting from the University of Illinois and was a graduate student at the Chicago Art Institute. Gloria's work has always involved music: "The energy and the vibe from the music is what gets the movement of the colors swirling and scratching and intermingling," she comments, "the music comes through the body and out to the paper or canvas." Her work is fun, colorful and highly respected among art collectors.
