Ladies and gentlemen, brave your outdoorsmen spirit and experience the ol’ fashioned thrill of a backcountry hunting expedition and the rewarding feast of your very own catch!
Relive the early pioneering days of the Wild West with ISTP parent, Todd Carper, and Bitterwater Outfitters on a guided hunt for a ram on private lands in Paso Robles. Whether you are an avid huntsman/huntswoman, or have never held a rifle before, you will have everything you need for a successful hunt. Before the big day, Todd will personally ensure you are comfortable and trained on firearm safety and handling the rifle, as you will make several visits to the shooting range to hone your marksmen skills. You may use your own rifle (of the appropriate caliber) or use Todd’s own .45/70 Marlin Cowboy Rifle.
Keep your hands clean, as Bitterwater Outfitters will take care of game collection, skinning and delivery to Los Gatos Meats for butchering and wrapping. West Coast Taxidermy can handle tanning and mounting (for an additional cost). But do prepare your palate, as your party will be treated to an unbelievably delicious feast of your catch at the Carper’s house in Sunnyvale! As your palate discovers the phenomenal textures and flavors of wild ram, you will bask in full appreciation of your dinner, and know the true satisfaction of a hunter’s delight.
Inclusions:
• Guided hunt for 1 person for a Ram by Bitterwater Outfitters with Todd Carper
• Game collection, skinning, basic butchering and delivery to Los Gatos Meats
• Dinner for 2 with your hosts Marie and Todd Carper at their home (separate day of the hunt)
• Catch guaranteed. Can return on another day if unsuccessful in hunt
Limitations:
• To be scheduled on a mutually agreed upon date before March 1, 2017
• Taxidermy service at winner’s expense
• Must be 21 years of age
• Able to walk 1 mile in light terrain
• Does not include transportation to and from Paso Robles, meals or lodging
