Picture yourself beyond the break, gliding through the water’s surface and taking in the fresh sea breeze through your lungs. The wind is your fuel, and is masterfully harnessed by your kite. Carve through the ocean waves and steer your board with exhilarating finesse. This is no dream, and your adventure could start this very night.
This is the perfect opportunity to train your land legs to prepare your sea legs for the incredible sport of kite surfing. Your first steps to your fun filled journey begins on land with a private lesson led by big wave kite surfer and FACCSF President, Frederic Stemmelin and Certified Kite Instructor, Tony Parson. In the hands of this talented duo, you will learn essential lessons of the sport in a mere two hours that would take years of trail and error for one approaching the sport independently. They will share all the basics of kite surfing equipment, essential safety systems, and everything you need to be comfortable in the waters and in full control of the elements. You will learn all about wind and power theory, so you can understand exactly what it takes to successfully propel yourself with thrilling momentum in the ocean waters. Way beyond a simple “intro” lesson, your two hours with Frederic and Tony is the best way to prepare yourself to set up, fly your kite like a pro and surrender to the thrill of this unique sport.
