Pamela’s World, located at 223 Water Street in Bath, has jewelry to fit any occasion. Owned and managed by Pamela Hagerthy-Edwards, this jewelry store caters to all tastes and all budgets. Pam has 39 years of experience in the jewelry business including running a jewelry store for many years in the Virgin Islands. She returned to her home town of Bath and has operated Pamela’s World for the last 15 years. Her experience is evident as she talks about the different lines she carries and where the pieces are made. She carries mostly sterling silver although she has some 14 carat gold pieces. Some of the brands she features are Ed Levin, Keith Jack, Kit Heath from London and from her time in the Virgin Islands, Larimar “the stone of the Carribean.” Many of the pieces are handcrafted by artisans in the New England region. Her store is known for its nautical jewelry which fits in well with Bath’s maritime heritage. Although Pamela’s world is popular with our summer visitors, it is the local shoppers that make the store a success. Whether it’s a present for Christmas, Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day, Pam and her staff love helping shoppers find just the right gift. They are open Monday through Friday 10:00-5:30, Saturday 10:00-5:00, and Sunday 11:00-3:00.
