Item Description
Naoma Irey, daughter of native Californians, became interested in art at an early age. She gave up a carreer in art to marry, but continued to pursue her passion for art while working with her husband in their business and raising wo children.
She studied watercolors under Robert Landrey and portraiture under Perietta Hester and Sam Jacoby. As well as attended numerous classes, workshops and seminars. Her medium is varied- oils, watercolor, acrylic and clay.
The most important aspect of producing her art is the self fulfillment and enjoyment it gives her. This means more to her than the marketing aspect.
Her current interest is doing paingintg of old, restored homes in La Mesa, Calfirornia. Naoma's art is well known and appreciated by collectors and it can be sen and purchased at the San diego Sculpture Gellery. Spanish Village in Balboa Park.
