Delight Your Tastebuds in Napa Valley, California for Four Days & Three Nights in a Guest Suite on a Private Vineyard for Two, Including a B Cellars Private Wine and Food Pairing, and Lunch and a Private Tasting with a Winemaker at J Gregory (Land Only)
Drink in the splendor of the seas as you make your way along the Alaskan coast, in and out of passages, past fjords, and miles and miles of wilderness. Nestled among the vine-draped upvalley hills, St. Helena is the charming and welcoming heart of the Napa Valley. Winemaking began here in the 1800s, and today it's the proud home of powerhouse wineries Beringer, Sutter Home, and Louis Martini, as well as to critically acclaimed small producers including Corison, Spottswoode, Vineyard 29 and Terra Valentine Winery. Napa is the perfect place to learn more about winemaking from a true insider's perspective, especially on your private tour of B Cellars, which will take you through it's facility and caves. You can also look forward to an amazing experience at J Gregory, where you will find a line of ultra premium wines produced from superior grapes, on your tasting and lunch with winemakers Mark and Kandice Jessup. St. Helena is a welcoming community that embraces the wine country hospitality. Experience its culinary scene, which includes fine dining at award-winning restaurants. You'll get to explore two of the many wineries and vineyards, but St. Helena also offers opportunities for relaxation, such as a day at the spa. The hardest part about your visit may be deciding among many options of what to do! While in Napa Valley, you will stay in a stylish and sophisticated private guest house which overlooks the mountains, vineyards and a picturesque 100 year old barn. Stroll through a garden as you enter your barn guest suite, and then relax and enjoy the comforts of a coffee bar, soaking tub, and outdoor dining area, including a bocce court. Greeted in the B Cellars Hospitality House, you will be led by a private wine guide to tour the culinary garden, state-of-the art winemaking facility, and wine caves, all while enjoying a glass of their Blend 23, a seductive blend of chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and viognier. Following the exploration, you will be seated for a tasting of B Cellars' flagship blended and limited-production wines. Each tasting is accompanied by an artfully produced, seasonal "B-Bite", which is created to perfectly pair with each wine in the tasting. Whet your palette for a 2013 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc produced at Juliana Vineyard; a 2012 Russian River Chardonnay harvested by Dutton Ranch; 2013 Russian River Pinot Noir from Manzana Vineyard; a 2010 Napa Valley Blend 24; and a 2011 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from Stagecoach Vineyard. At their private tasting room in Napa, owners Mark and Kandice Jessup will personally lead you through a tasting of their wines over a delicious gourmet lunch. Not only is Mark the owner; he’s the wine maker. For three decades, he has worked closely and fostered relationships with a handful of select Napa Valley growers. Mark understands that outstanding fruit is the foundation of exceptional wines, and believes these grower relationships allow him to cull from a variety of appellation personalities. The resulting wines are at once classic and contemporary. |
