Item Description
This canvas print was painted and donated by Brooke Brochu, age 10 of Jay, Maine. Brooke has skied with MASR for 5 years. She suffers from the progressive rare genetic disease, Ataxia Telangiectasia (A-T). This piece was created in art class at Jay Elementary School under the instruction of Tamara Lindsey with the assistance of Melody Plourde. Brooke has poor fine motor skills but was able to achieve great success with this project by using adapted tools and stamping techniques. She enjoyed learning about painting, especially color shading to create depth.
