Experience a different side of Battle Road, and learn how colonial farmers tended their land!
Brian Donahue, author of Reclaiming the Commons, The Great Meadow, and lead author of A New England Food Vision, will take you on an expedition that will show you evidence of how colonial farmers-- the same men who banded together to send the British into retreat-- farmed.
You'll look at a section of the Minuteman National Historic Park and see how it has changed over time, from Meriam's Corner in the western end of the Battle Road section of Mintueman NHP to Brook's parking lot and Hartwell Tavern in the eastern end.
