Experience thousands of exotic, vibrant butterflies with four tickets to the Florida Museum of Natural History's Butterfly Rainforest exhibit!
Located on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville, the Florida Museum of Natural History's Butterfly Rainforest exhibit is a can’t-miss living exhibit featuring hundreds of free-flying butterflies and birds from around the world.
A 6,400-square-foot outdoor screened enclosure features a lush landscape planted in tropical trees and colorful flowering plants amid waterfalls and a walking path. View live butterfly releases Monday through Friday at 2 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., weather permitting.
The Florida Museum of Natural History offers free general admission to a variety of permanent exhibits, including a butterfly rearing lab for a closer look at the life cycle of the butterfly and internationally acclaimed fossil collections.
Item Special Note
Tickets expire February 9, 2017.
Tickets include admission to the Butterfly Rainforest exhibit only. General admission to the Florida Museum of Natural History is free. There is a separate cover charge for featured exhibits.
Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
The Butterfly Rainforest is an outdoor exhibit. No refunds will be given for inclement weather.
Tickets are nonrefundable and non-exchangeable.
