Item Description
Hand-stitched baby's dress dating to the time when Henry David Thoreau was alive and young girls with excellent eyesight made baby-things as part of their trousseau. This little dress would have been worn by either sex and is suitable for careful ceremonial use by an infant today, or simply appreciated for its beauty. It is 25 inches long. The dress is the subject of a video that was made to demonstrate how to launder such things. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JJobP6AnUs
