You are bidding on one delicious bottle of rare Respite Wines 2010 Indulgence Cabernet Sauvignon, Reichel Vineyard, Alexander Valley.

About the Wine:
Our proprietary blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Malbec & 13% Cabernet Franc shows a dense black/purple color, with rich notes of cassis, raspberry, wild blackberry, plum liqueur and cigar box. The expansive mid-palate is plush with ripe blackberry, mocha, pomegranate, blueberry, tar and chunky mountain tannins that are all kept in balance by the acidity that we have come to expect from our vineyards.

Tasting Notes:
Dense black/purple in color, with rich notes of cassis, raspberry, wild blackberry, plum liqueur and cigar box. The expansive mid-palate is plush with ripe blackberry, mocha, pomegranate, blueberry, tar and chunky mountain tannins that are all kept in balance by the acidity that we have come to expect from our vineyards.

About the Vineyard:
Our 20 acre south-facing vineyard is located northeast of Cloverdale in the Alexander Valley Appellation from 2,400' to 2,600' in elevation, and is part of a 400-acre ranch that was originally purchased by the family in 1948.

About the Winemakers:
We knew it was time to start our own brand when we met May-Britt and Denis Malbec. The Malbec name has been synonymous with the famed Chateau Latour for three generations. Denis was born on Latour property, grew up with its soil between his toes and was winemaker there from 1994 until 1999. May-Britt began her wine industry career in Sweden as a sommelier in Stockholm's top restaurants, was named Best Sommelier in the Nordic Countries, and has served on many international sommelier judging panels. Denis and May-Britt have created a wine that showcases our unique mountaintop fruit while giving it an elegant Bordeaux flair.

Pick up/shipping information: At auction close, item will be available for pick up in Sebastopol, CA on the designated pick up days. Due to the shape and/or size of this item, it cannot be shipped. THIS ITEM IS PICK UP ONLY.

For planning, note that the pick-up days are Friday, March 25, 2016 between 2 & 5pm and Saturday, March 26, 2016 between 9 & midday in Sebastopol, California. All information and details about pick up times and location will be given in the auction closing email.
