Randolph Capone, MD, FACS is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, a prestigious organization of physicians who have had more comprehensive training in facial surgery than any other medical specialty. Dr. Capone dedicates his practice to cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck, with a particular focus on rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation. He advocates natural surgical results that allow the patient to look refreshed and renewed without looking overdone or artificial. Dr. Capone has many patients who come to him from across the country seeking out his expertise.
Dr. Capone’s passion for excellence is evident in his surgical results and throughout his curriculum vitae. He completed his undergraduate degree in Physics at University of Rochester, followed by a Masters Degree from Duke University. He earned his medical degree from Emory University, where he graduated Alpha Omega Alpha, an honor reserved for individuals in the top 5% of their class. He then went on to complete a Residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and then a Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery at the University of California at Davis, where he was mentored by renown facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Jonathan Sykes. Dr. Capone is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Facial Plastic Surgery at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. His work has been widely recognized with numerous teaching and research awards, among those is the prestigious Sir Harold Delf Gilles award for his outstanding research in facial rejuvenation. He has spoken at academic and professional meetings across the country and has been featured on the local ABC and FOX news, and as a medical expert on the TOP Doctors Medical Interviews, which can be seen on CNN, Esquire, E!, and Bravo television networks. He has been repeatedly named as a Baltimore Magazine “Top Doc” and has edited a popular textbook for aesthetic surgeons, Complications in Facial Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Capone lives in Baltimore with his wife and their two young sons. In his spare time, he is a musician with the Columbia Symphony Orchestra. In addition to classical music, Dr. Capone enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
