Item Description
With all the new machines and products available, stretching strudel dough is a dying art and one that should be preserved. The spanakopita in homes throughout Greece is made with homemade filo dough, is about 1-inch thick including the crust, and is quite simple to make! Who knew?
You will make two shapes, a traditional pie and a cigar shape. While the spanakopita is cooking, you will learn to make a traditional horiatiki salad and tzatziki sauce to go along with meal. Invite a friend to come for the feast and have some yummy, healthy, food to take home!
The class will be held on the Upper West Side on a date mutually agreed upon.
