Stewart is the author of First Class: The Legacy of Dunbar, America’s First Black Public High School, and is currently a contributing correspondent for PBS and the host of “Follow Your Past” on The Travel Channel. Stewart is a graduate of Brown University. Alison's book 'Junk: Digging Through America's Love Affair with Stuff' will be released 4/1/16. She lives in New York City.
