Consultation and creation of a Mood Board from Interior Designer Susan Petrie-Badertscher of Petrie Point Designs.

Petrie Point Designs, winner of the “Best of Houzz 2016” award will meet with you to assess your design needs via a personal consultation and custom mood board based on your personal design needs. Susan will meet with you to discuss your design obstacles, goals and overall lifestyle as it fits into you home decor.

Driven by a penchant for practicality and creating stylish, attainable custom dwellings Susan Petrie-Badertscher launched her interior design firm in 2014. Susan’s early career included developing large scale fashion and retail events for national magazines such as Town & Country, GQ, Vogue, W and Real Simple. After being inspired by her love of nautical memorabilia and an obsession for defining personal style in 2008 Susan channeled her creative energy into forming Petrie Point Designs or PPD, a line of vintage, one-of-a-kind framed pieces that have been displayed in private residences, exclusive clubs and boutique hotels. Through PPD Susan was fortunate enough to offer her design services and mesh her intuitive interior skills with her ability to find solutions for clients looking to obtain a comfortable, chic and inviting home environment. After enrolling in the Parsons School of Design in 2012 Susan pursued her dream and expanded her portfolio by working with esteemed designers including Miles Redd while collaborating with others on spacial planning and designing of high-end luxury private residences in New York City and the Hamptons.
Susan’s passion for unique personalization and helping clients define their own personal aesthetic is what makes her unique. Utilizing her "memories made modern" product tagline comes through in her style...from mixing antiques/vintage items within modern spaces, to offering her keen design eye and aiding in developing an effortlessly and livable home, Susan loves customizing the needs of each of her clients. Today Susan’s client base has grown to include family beach homes, downtown lofts, Brooklyn brownstones and Manhattan pied-a-terres.
