Item Description
An introduction to Design Thinking workshop: a 3 hour workshop for your team of 4-8 participants
Do you wrestle with finding the “right” ideas, selling your solutions and managing the risk of failure when working on an innovative project? Learn to create better innovation, faster, while decreasing risks and costs, using design thinking. This creative problem solving process applies the principles and mindsets used by product designers in other fields such as new products, services, social innovation and education. Discover the process used by the Stanford d.school and IDEO, and learn the mindsets of a design thinker: being user-centered, adopting a prototyping attitude and failing early. This highly experiential format will help you learn the process and immediately practice your skills. This workshop can be tailored to team needs and size and is relevant to corporations, small business, non-profit and education.
Helene Cahen is a parent at EB, innovation consultant, trainer, facilitator and coach who works with large corporations as well as small businesses, non-profit organizations and occasionally middle schoolers (she co-taught an IDD on design thinking at EB last fall) . www.strategicinsights.biz
