The winning bidder will receive a Gift Certificate good towards One (1) Registration for the 2017 Tri-City Medical Center Carlsbad Marathon OR Half Marathon.

The date of the Carlsbad Marathon & Half Marathon is January 15, 2017. Both races start and finish at The Shoppes at Carlsbad (2525 El Camino Real, Carlsbad CA 92008).

Included in your 2017 full or half marathon entry is a high-quality technical fabric, 1/4 zip pullover! So in addition to our beautiful coastal and entertainment-lined course with fully-stocked support stations, personalized bib numbers, cinch bags, long-sleeve, technical fabric race shirts, Mylar blankets and prepackaged finish line food bags with chocolate milk, we're adding even more love!

The half marathon course is one of the fastest in the San Diego area and the U.S. It starts and finishes at the same location as the marathon; however, the races have different start times and the courses are not the same. After the starter's gun goes off, half marathoners will pass the Buena Vista Lagoon as they head out to Carlsbad Boulevard (Highway 101) and along the ocean to the turnaround point at Breakwater Road and back to the finish line. The out-and-back course is gently rolling, with no major elevation changes. Run this course and you will see why some of the fastest half marathon times in the U.S. are run here!

The full marathon starts and finishes at The Shoppes at Carlsbad. After the starter's gun goes off, marathoners will head for the coast passing the Buena Vista Lagoon and out to Carlsbad Boulevard (Highway 101) north to the north Carlsbad city limit, then south on Carlsbad Boulevard (Highway 101), east on Palomar Airport Road for a 3-mile trip inland, then out to the coast and south on Carlsbad Boulevard (Highway 101) to a U-turn at La Costa Avenue, then back up the coast to the finish line. The marathon course is rolling. Much of it is along the beautiful Pacific Ocean. The highest point of elevation is 308 feet above sea level reached gradually between miles 5 and 9.

Local pickup times are May 11th 2016, 7:45-9:00AM & 1:45-2:45PM at the front entrance of La Costa Heights Elementary.

Items can be shipped to the winning bidder, however, actual shipping charges (including insurance) will be added to the total bid.
