Item Description
How Does Your Garden Grow? As a remembrance of the 5th grade Southwest trip, and to incorporate this year's themes of gardens and community, the class planted a beautiful, 25 inch square vertical succulent garden. The wood frame is uniquely outlined in stamped copper and personalized by the students under the tutelage of Grant Ditzler. This gorgeous, drought-tolerant garden will keep your class memories alive for years to come.
Thank you to Jill Johnson for coordinating this gift. Also, a special thank you to Michael Byun, a Nueva 10th grader, for his guidance on this project. You can read about his expertise and story in Sunset Magazine: http://westphoria.sunset.com/2015/08/06/confessions-of-a-high-school-phytophile/
