Item Description
Recommended for ages 4-6*- up to two children. This activity will take about an hour and a half.
Introduce your child(ren)/grandchildren to the principles of electricity using the educational set: Electronic Snap Circuits. Michael Mostow will bring his Electronic Snap Circuits** set to your home*** at an agreed upon date and time.
"I envision this as a guided instruction where a child and I would build several circuits together, snapping electrical components onto a plastic grid. The result of building these circuits, for example, would result in a fan (i.e. a tiny motor) turning, lights turned on,and/or various sounds being produced." There are over 100 circuits to choose from which include such "projects" as a "Musical Doorbell", "Police Siren", "Clap Hands to Activate Different Sounds"or starting with simple circuits such as a "Lamp & Fan in Series", depending on the interest and age of the child.
*The suppliers of this set suggest ages 8-108 but I used it several times with my 3 1/2 year old grandson and he seemed to really enjoy it
**Or will use your set if you own one
***Manhattan only.
