Item Description
The winning bidder will receive the "Indonesia Bravo" tile from Aaron Chang's 12" x 12" Prints Collection. Listing image is taken of actual item - a protective film is covering the piece. For another view of this item, see it here on the gallery's website.
Indonesia Bravo: A perfect wave fires on a desolate reef in Indonesia. This shot is like a dream come true. Aaron Chang's special square images are 12" x 12" pieces and use the same top of the line Fuji Crystal Archive Paper as his Limited Editions, which go for thousands of dollars. Also, like his limited editions, these pieces are face mounted between two layers of acrylic, creating a durable, glossy image that will last for years to come. The great thing is how easy they are to hang, transforming a room in minutes!
Aaron Chang is an award winning, internationally acclaimed artist whose work has been published all over the world in hundreds of books and magazines. "People always ask me who the best surf and ocean photographer is," says Surfer magazine photo editor Jeff Divine, "and I've always said it was Aaron Chang." As a force in visually defining the sport of surfing, Aaron has pursued his passion for surf photography to the far ends of the earth. As a senior photographer for Surfing magazine for 25 years Aaron was at the core of the surfing world, traveling to over fifty countries and discovering new talent and surf spots on a global scale. Aaron was selected from among the world's top photojournalists for seven "Day in the Life" book projects. He was also named one of the top five sports photographers by American Photographer magazine and was the subject of a cover story.
