Item Description

Wax Paper is a sandwich shop, tucked away in a tiny shipping container in the FSY Architects building that parallels the Los Angeles River Bike Path in Frogtown, Elysian Valley. They are truly a neighborhood spot, offering a place of warmth, comfort, and creativity, and are dedicated to respecting our Earth's resources.

The Wax Paper menu features homemade sandwiches (many named after your favorite NPR hosts!), salads, and sides, with an array of beverages including fresh-brewed coffee & tea and real sodas. Their main goal is to provide the community with a place where patrons can eat, drink, relax, relate, and create...a place of happiness and the feeling of being at home.

YELP reviews:

The Larry Mantle was the east coast sub of my dreams, and the Ira Glass is a must for veggie lovers.

Love this neighborhood sandwich shop! Great owners that are super friendly and delicious food. All the sandwiches are awesome!

Walk on the Los Angeles River long enough and you'll stumble upon a treasure trove. The trove is Wax Paper.
