Item Description

Lunch & Tour for 4 at Reagan Ranch in Santa Barbara

“If not Heaven itself, the ranch must have the same zip code.” -Ronald Reagan

Straddling a mountain overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Ynez Valley in California, Rancho del Cielo served as the Western White House from 1981 to 1989. The 688-acre ranch was the 40th president's escape from public life -- but like Monticello and Mount Vernon, it was also a getaway where much business was conducted by the president, especially when such distinguished guests as Queen Elizabeth II, Margaret Thatcher, Mikhail Gorbachev, and Brian Mulroney were visiting.

Ronald Reagan said of his beloved Santa Barbara, California ranch, “No place before or since has ever given Nancy and me the joy and serenity it does.”

President Reagan’s Rancho del Cielo, his home for nearly twenty-five years, is a window into the soul of Ronald Reagan. But what if the Reagan Ranch had been lost? Future generations would have been robbed of the chance to visit the Ranch and “meet” the real Ronald Reagan.
