Enjoy a two night weekend stay, including a full breakfast buffet, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Albuquerque. Modern surroundings, warm hospitality and a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie await your arrival. Make yourself at home in a guest room with complimentary WiFi and amenities for work and relaxation. Drink some Starbucks coffee at Onyx Café or stroll over to ICE Lounge and enjoy the contemporary decor and range of refreshing ice-cold drinks. Sample New Mexican and coastal California cuisine at La Oja Restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Work out in the fitness center on the latest equipment or swim laps in the seasonal outdoor pool.
Travel + Leisure voted Albuquerque as the 5th quirkiest city in the USA. That’s an accolade, not an insult. As far as we at AT&SF are concerned, kookiness is part of Albuquerque’s appeal. We decided the best way to highlight the uniqueness of ABQ was to create the Albu-Quirky Downtown Weird Walk. Throughout its long and storied history, Albuquerque and its citizens have marched to a different beat. What some might consider lowlights are highlights to us, and this tour will showcase it all. Albu-Quirky Downtown Weird Walk features the outlandish personalities, bizarre crimes and odd events that shaped the Duke City's oddball character. You’ll be surrounded by historic buildings, public art, a giant Adirondack chair and film sites (including The Avengers, Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul).
We’re proud of our quirky character, and we hope you’ll find it as charming as we do. We also hope that you never look at Albuquerque’s downtown the same way again!
You have 4 tickets for this walking tour. (Bring a couple friends!)
The Standard Diner is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, serving modern urban twists on traditional diner fare. Featured on Diner’s, Drive-ins and Dives in 2008, Standard Diner is located in the Edo district in downtown Albuquerque. It is in a remodeled 1938 service station on historic Route 66. We have a unique approach to diner food, creating a menu with inventive, locally inspired takes on classic dishes to create something for everyone. Two delicious dinners await you! With twelve local craft beers on tap and desserts from an in-house bakery Standard Diner offers a unique dining experience any time of day.
