Sunset Cruise on the Schooner Ardelle
- Item Number
- 91
- Estimated Value
- 1140 USD
Item Description
Come join us for a sunset sail on the Schooner Ardelle, an authentic, indigenous, traditionally built schooner that is moored in Gloucester. Based at the Maritme Center, the Ardelle was handbuilt by Harold Burnham of Burnham Boat Builders and his neighbors in Essex in 2010 and 2011 using locally sourced wood. The trip will feature delicious seafood and vegetarian hors d’oeuvres especially created for this event by Stephanie Bichet. There will also be a signature cocktail and a selection of adult and youth beverages.
This sail will be an experience to remember! The ship’s capacity is 30, there are 11 seats already reserved so only 19 seats remain! Tickets are offered at $60 each and include food, beverage and a beautiful cruise with a handful of your Waring friends. Sail takes place on August 20, subject to change. Generously donated by Denisse and Chris Horan, Karin and John Martin and Stephanie and Henri Bichet, with special thanks to Captain Harold Burnham.
