In-Home Concert by Julio Botti Latin Grammy Nominee

Began his musical career at the age of 8 in the Municipal Band of Bell Ville (Cordoba Argentina).

• In 1996 graduates from "Escuela de Musica Popular La Colmena" Cordoba, Argentina.

• Travels to Brasilia, Brazil to enter the International Course of Music where he is chosen to be part of the Symphonic Orchestra.

• In 1998 moves to New York City where he studies with Donny McCaslin and Bob Franceschini.

• In 2002 travels to Havana, Cuba to study Classical Saxophone at "La Escuela Nacional de Arte de La Habana".

• In 2003 moves to Madrid, Spain where he creates Jazz Quartet "Zafari Project".

• In 2004 is selected to play in the “Injuve Ibiza Festival” shortly after Hotsak-Errabel Record Label produces his first album entitled “Zafari Project”.

• In 2004 performs and records with Buddy Miles (Jimmy Hendrix's Band of Gypsys).

• In 2005 embarks on his solo album entitled “Lenguajes” which incorporates South American rhythms and Spanish influence.

• In 2007 moves back to New York City to take part in the collaboration of various musical projects and recordings. Becomes an active member of the Latin Jazz scene while striving to develop a stronger focus on South American rhythms.

• Records Demo “South American Roots” featuring Percussionist and Drummer Quintino Cinalli (Esperanza Spalding) and Pianist Leo Genovese (Esperanza Spalding). This project gains the attention of Maestro Pablo Ziegler (Pianist to the late and legendary Astor Piazzolla).

• Develops Project “Buenos Aires Vanguard” which focuses on New Tango. Maestro Pablo Ziegler is featured as a special guest.

• In 2009 tours internationally with the “Pablo Ziegler Trio” as a guest Saxophonist.

• In 2010 is called by Sony Classical to record Saxophone for Opera Singer Erwin Schrott in his album entitled “Rojo Tango”.

• Performs at Symphony Space New York, NY as well as Mondavi Center, Davis, CA in Maestro Pablo Ziegler’s “Beyond Tango” tour.

• In 2011 begins recording his own New Tango project under the direction of Maestro Pablo Ziegler.
