As is the case with all of our Baby Boxes, these goodies arrive in our custom-designed Bed Box, which provides a safe place for baby to sleep, or which can simply serve as a convenient and portable spot for baby to rest and relax. The Everything But The Stork Box is the perfect way to spoil a new baby, while also making mom and dad's lives easier during those wonderful-yet-exhausting first months!

About the Baby Box Co.

For more than 75 years, Finland's expectant mothers have been given a Baby Box by the state that serves as a starter kit for their new baby. It contains clothes, blankets, and other newborn necessities, and the Baby Box itself--which is lined with a mattress--is used as the child's first bed. It is believed that these Baby Boxes have helped Finland achieve one of the world's lowest infant mortality rates. The Baby Box is credited with helping to decrease Finland's infant mortality rate from 65 deaths for each 1,000 children born in 1938 to 3 deaths per 1,000 births in 2013.The tradition dates back to 1938. It has become an established part of the Finnish rite of passage towards motherhood, uniting generations of women and contributing to Finland's ranking as one of the best countries in the world for mothers to live.

Winning bidders who are current Laurence families may only pick up items at the school. Winning bidders who are not current Laurence families will receive their items by mail and are responsible for shipping fees. We will ship U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail, insured for your protection, while still to keeping costs at a minimum, which will be approximately $7.00 for a large envelope (gift certificates, etc.) and more for boxed items. Shipping fees will added to the purchase price of the items.
