11 x 9 oil on canvas painting by former Waldorf teacher and Foundations Studies teacher, Leonore Russell. Mount Monadnock is a mountain in New Hampshire, known for its presence in the writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau and climbed by the campers and families visiting Camp Glen Brook. It is a cherished mountain to the Waldorf School of Garden City and Camp Glen Brook.
