Item Description
Win this 2 bottle lot of La Follette wine.
- La Follette 2013 Pinot Noir, North Coast: A complex and beguiling bouquet of fresh strawberry, vanilla pod and wild mushroom. The smooth entry leads to delicate red fruit flavors framed by soft tannins and savory notes. Balanced by acidity on the late-palate, the long finish is punctuated by a subtle earthiness. Overall, a complete and palate-pleasing rendition of coastal Pinot Noir.
- La Follette 2013 Pinot Noir, DuNah Vineyard: An alluring bouquet of black cherry, vanilla pod and sassafras reveals herbal and savory notes with time in the glass. Mouthwatering acidity on entry resolves in a mid-palate of firm tannins and a concentration of cool climate Pinot Noir fruit. A long and meaty finish. Reminiscent of a Pommard, the wine shows fine varietal character and will complex with cellar age.
